best and flawed theory. I said that before when this discussin came up by Nixit promoting this. As you said that there is several feet of piping and also the intercooler dampens the pulses. When the air enters the intercoolers it expands and when it exits it has to contract. In other words going from small space to very large space to small space. There is no documented proof that was the intended design purpose. The reason for the cross flow had to do with design consideration of the manifold runners and eliminating 180 bends in the intake track.
